General Processing Guidelines:

  • Each graft is a minimum of 15 mm in length
  • Graft will be flat as possible and perpendicular to the sides and parallel to the base
  • Porous holes within the cancellous portion of the graft do not exceed 2 mm
  • The cancellous bone is sufficiently dense and should not collapse when moderate pressure is applied between the thumb and forefinger
  • The cortical surface is sufficiently dense and intact
