General Processing Guidelines:

  • Anterior mitral valve is left intact
  • Internal annulus measured in millimeters (D = mm) using a Hegar dilator
  • Conduit measured in centimeters (L = cm) using a ruler
  • L = minimum length: 1.0 cm distal to commissural posts, maximum conduit length: 10.0 cm

Clinical Applications:
Left side/aortic reconstructions, aortic stenosis/atresia, hypoplastic left heart, repair of RVOTs (Right Ventricular Outflow Tract)
